One week out. Here’s what you need to know for May 24.

📍 Tyendinaga Recreation Complex, 363 McFarlane Road, Shannonville
🕘 80km + 50km roll at 9:00am / 35km at 9:45am / Rodeo + 5km at 10:30am
🏁 Free Family Bike Rodeo for ages 5+ all morning
🌭 BBQ fires up at noon — included with your entry and with Bike Rodeo registration

Bring your own water, snacks, tools, and a tube. Helmet required. Lights recommended. Load the route on your phone or GPS ahead of time — cell coverage can be patchy out there.

Every route in the Melrose Gravel Tour has been ridden, re-ridden, and argued about.

The team behind the tour has spent years exploring Tyendinaga Township’s backroads, finding the ones worth sharing (for better or for worse!) The 80km fondo strings together the best of them: gravel roads, rocky ATV trails, real elevation, and a couple of sections that’ll make you earn it.

The 50km split pulls from the same roads without the full commitment. The new 35km keeps it light and scenic while still acing the backroad vibe.

Tyendinaga has over 100km of light gravel and 20km+ of public off-road trails. This event exists to show you the best of them so you can come back and keep exploring.

The Melrose Gravel Tour is back on Sunday, May 24, kicking off from the Tyendinaga Recreation Complex with options for everyone:

→ 80km fondo for a full send (9:00)
→ 50km short-cut for a seasonal kick-start (9:00)
→ 35km for a beautiful morning on the backroads (9:45)
