Race Recap – August 22nd, 2026 at Edmonton Int'l Raceway

Construction Appreciation Night brought a strong crowd to Edmonton International Raceway, setting the stage for a full evening of racing capped off with the 100‑Lap Thunder Car Special! With qualifying, heats, and a long feature ahead, the Thunder Car program had a busy and competitive night.

Thunder Car Race Results:
• Qualifying – 2nd place (fast lap 15.057)
• Heat 1A – 1st place (fast lap 14.893)
• Heat 2A – 1st place (fast lap 15.146)
• Feature – 6th place

The Thunder Car #23 came out strong early in the night, qualifying 2nd and backing it up with wins in both Heat 1A and Heat 2A. With a full invert for the feature, we rolled off 7th for the 100‑lap main. The car had speed, but the long race brought its challenges, making it a tough climb through the field.
