What a championship game!!

Words can’t even begin to describe the heart, determination, and incredible skill shown on the ice today. Both teams played with everything they had, giving us a game for the ages, a true battle that went all the way to double overtime! In the end, the East Hants Ryson Construction Penguins JrC came out on top with a 3-2 victory to capture the 2025 Maritime Junior C Championship!

Congratulations to the Penguins on an unforgettable weekend, your resilience, teamwork, and passion were truly something special to witness. You earned every bit of this championship, and we couldn’t be happier for you!

And to the Tri-County Junior Rivercats — what an incredible journey it has been. Your talent, heart, and sportsmanship were on full display all weekend long. You played with class, determination, and left it all out there on the ice. Hold your heads high — you made your club and province proud.

This weekend wasn’t just about hockey, it was about heart, brotherhood, and the love of the game. Thank you to both teams for giving us a championship we will never forget.
