The Southwest Storm would like to announce Paul Macdonald as their new Head Coach for the upcoming 2026-27 season. Paul brings several years of coaching experience including this past season as Head Coach of the Yarmouth U15 AA and previous to that as an assistant with the U15 Major Western Hurricanes. Andrew Holland who will stay on as Storm GM had this to say "We are pleased to have Paul join our team. He is very familiar with this group of players and we are confident in his ability to step in and lead this team to another successful season of junior hockey.". Tony Koziel will resume his duties as assistant coach as the staff start to prepare for next season. Paul had this to add about his new position."I'm very excited and look forward to being the coach of the Storm. Hoping to make a strong run at winning a championship and continue the success of past seasons. The Storm open training camp for their sixth season of Nsrjhl hockey in mid September. Details will be posted at a later date. Go Storm!

Good evening Storm fans. Tonight’s charity game was well attended by you Jevon the fans. Storm players and coaching staff would like to thank the Ice Dogs for participating in tonight’s game.

All proceeds from tonight’s game will go to “Let Your Light Shine” Jevin Link Society.

Good evening Storm Fans. Well the season has come to an end tonight with 6-2 loss. Coaching staff would like to thank all fans for the dedication and support over the last five years.

The Storm would like to thank their sponsors, Wilson group, Sea Star Seafoods,Logan’s Legacy, Surf Seafood, Parents Pride Fisheries. 

Coaching staff is looking forward to next season and a whole new look.

Hey Storm fans Game 2 today at 3 Pm Sandy Wickens Arena.

Boys fought hard last night in East Hants with a 7-3 loss.

Expecting an exciting game today.
