Congrats girls, on a well earned Silver Medal!!!

The Barrie Storm U17 Select team had an outstanding weekend at the Battle of the Bats Tournament this weekend!

They won their first three games against Forest Glade (6–5), Brampton (8–7), and Milton (14–10). After a strong tournament run, they battled hard in the championship game and finished with a well-earned silver medal.

Every team seems to have one player who does something small that says a lot.

They’re the one who starts picking up the balls after practice.

They grab the bucket without being asked.

They help collect equipment when everyone else is heading to the dugout.

It’s not the flashy part of the game.

It won’t show up in the stat sheet.

But coaches notice it.

Because those small habits usually tell you a lot about a player’s mindset.

Players who respect the work…
respect their teammates…
and take care of the little things…

often become the players coaches trust the most.

Sometimes leadership shows up in the smallest ways.
