Are you a new /intermediate female rider who just got a new bike or are maybe just getting back into the sport?
Are you looking to meet other women interested in mountain biking?
Are you looking to learn some new local trails?
Then this is the event for you!!!
Come join our Liv Cycling Canada Ambassadors & for a Social Ride and tailgate.
We know that the thought of getting out on the trails may be a bit daunting , so we would like to help introduce you to some trail riding fundamentals in a very fun casual atmosphere.
We will be meeting at Giant Barrie in the parking lot for 6pm and getting our wheels in motion for 630, ride then back to the shop for a tailgate bbq and the opportunity for private shopping in store.
We hope to see you out!

Our Challenge is still going strong! Catching up with another workout courtesy of for our ;
20 minute EMOM
(Every Minute on the Minute)
1-Sumo Deadlift High Pull (10-15 reps)
2-Wall Sit (hold for full minute)
3-Push up or Dip (10-15 reps)
4-Plank Hold (hold for one minute)
Repeat 5x
How to:
Warm up appropriately before beginning.
Set an interval timer to go off every minute for 20 minutes or start a running clock and watch to transition each minute
Minute 1 - Suggested 15 reps but scale back if you need to. Aim to work hard for about 40 seconds out of the minute. If it’s taking more than 45 to complete, scale your reps back. If you’re finished your reps quicker than 40 sec, then weight is not appropriate or add more reps in order to achieve appropriate stimulus for the workout.
When you’ve completed your reps, you rest for the remainder of the minute.
Minute 2 - Aim to hold a wall sit for the full minute. If not possible, hold for as long as you can. It is more important to achieve proper form for a shorter period.
Minute 3 - Same as minute 1 only you’re doing push ups or dips. Variations given in demos.
Minute 4 - Same as minute 2 but you’re doing a plank hold.

Here’s a quick workout from for when you need something short or you can rest & repeat it for longer one.
•Warm up appropriately then set timer for 15 minutes.
•Choose your intensity based on how much rest you give yourself.
•There are several variations & modifications of these movements- choose the ones appropriate for you
•Aim for as many rounds as you can of the given number of the 4 movements
•Rest as appropriate for your fitness level. Higher fitness levels may require minimal or no rest & aim to move continuously, as fast as possible. Beginners may do half the required number of reps and either rest after each or rest between full number of exercises. Others may require rest between rounds. You choose the intensity.
•You can lengthen the workout by repeating with 2-3 min rests in between
