Building this coaching company has forced me to confront something I talk about often, but now I am experiencing it at a deeper level myself.

Change is hard because we are not just trying to change our actions.

We are trying to change our identity.

The brain becomes efficient at running familiar thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. Over time, those patterns feel normal, even when they no longer serve us.

That is why so many people want more, but keep drifting back into the same cycles.

Real transformation is not about motivation alone.

It is about repetition, awareness, and reconditioning.

It is about becoming aware of the old version of you that keeps showing up, and then choosing, again and again, to act as the person you are trying to become.

That is the work.

And if it feels hard, it may simply mean you are growing beyond the version of you that created your current results.

Change your identity.

You get to restart every area of your life today! But you have to decide to throw away the identity of who you have been because the old identity won’t carry you anymore

This was a fun exercise. If you are having trouble making a decision or you plan too much - apply this formula to your business

VoI = EV (decision with more info) - EV (decision now) - cost of delay If VoI < 0, stop researching and act.

After doing this I developed a new Operating Principle for myself 👇🏻

My Operating Principle

👉If action can teach me the answer faster than research, I move now.

👉If the decision is reversible, I do not need certainty. I need reps.

👉Iterate faster
👉if it can be fixed in less than 24 hrs do it
👉Act faster than everyone else.

So exciting! I’m not a designer but AI is allowing me to express my creativity without software skills. 👇🏻👇🏻 great visual - lots of details missing but I will get better explaining what I want. Truth is you still have to know what you’re talking about but the real trick is how good is your ability to communicate your desires.
