My client asked me recently:
"How did I become the person who takes care of everyone else... but never myself?"
It's a question I hear often.
Not because women are weak.
Not because they're doing life wrong.
But because somewhere along the way, many of us became experts at carrying responsibilities.
We became the dependable one.
The strong one.
The helper.
The caregiver.
The problem solver.
And while those roles are beautiful...
Sometimes we wear them for so long that we forget who we were before we started carrying everyone else.
One day we wake up and wonder:
Where did that adventurous woman go?
The one who laughed more.
Dreamed more.
Danced more.
Wanted things.
The truth is...
She didn't disappear.
She's still there.
She may simply be buried beneath years of responsibility.
And sometimes the first step isn't finding a new version of yourself.
It's remembering the one who was there all along.
With love,
