A huge shoutout to the Ayr Rockets U15 team, who took on the Terry Fox 5km route this past weekend! 🏒 🏃‍♀️

It's amazing to see this group of young athletes come together, get active, support an incredible cause, and help carry Terry's dream forward. 👟

Thank you, Rockets, for showing that being a great teammate goes beyond the rink! The Terry Fox Foundation Ayr Rockets Girls Hockey Association

AYR, WHAT A COMMUNITY ❤️ 👏

We are still taking it all in after another incredible Terry Fox Run in town for 2026.

To everyone who ran, walked, wheeled, volunteered, donated, cheered from the sidelines, brought a friend, brought the kids, baked, collected toonies or simply showed up — THANK YOU.

So far, our community has raised an incredible:

🎉 $11,942.50 🎉 And we’re not finished yet!

This total includes online donations and registrations, Run Day donations and registrations, Toonies for Terry, our Bake Sale, and the final total will include the fundraising efforts from our three local schools in the coming week!

As more donations continue to come in, we’ll combine everything together and share our final Ayr grand total with you.

What makes this number so special isn’t just the dollars — it’s what it represents. It represents neighbours helping neighbours, families coming together, local businesses and volunteers giving their time, and an entire community continuing Terry’s dream.

Terry asked us to keep going. Ayr continues to answer that call. ❤️

From all of us with the Terry Fox Run Ayr volunteer team — thank you for showing up, giving back and helping us Finish It.

We couldn’t do it without you. 🍁 The Terry Fox Foundation

What a wonderful day for our community to come together, honour Terry Fox, and celebrate the incredible impact one young man has had on cancer research through his dream and enduring legacy. ❤️

To everyone who donated, volunteered, cheered participants on, owalked, ran, wheeled, or simply showed up to support the cause — THANK YOU! Your support helps keep Terry’s dream moving forward.

We’ll share the final fundraising total for Ayr as soon as it’s available, and we’ll continue posting photos as they come in. 📸

Thank you, Ayr, for showing up and helping us Finish It. 💙

“Even if I don’t finish, we need others to continue. It’s got to keep going without me.”
