Today was the day for the money raffle draw. Thank you everyone for buying tickets. We sold all 1000.
Our winners were:
1. Julie Ells $1000
2. Kevin McInnis $500
3. Anita Mazurkewich $250

Thank you everyone who came out to curl in our closing funspiel today. I hope you all had a great time.
We had a 3 way tie for overall winners- Paul Quesnel team, Glen Joss team and the Anita Mazurkewich team. So then we had to go to draw to button results and the Paul Quesnel team came out on top.
We hope to see you all next year. And bring a few friends.

Thank you to everyone who came out to curl today in our closing funspiel. We really appreciate the support.
We played 3 4 end games and the overall winners were The Paul Quesnel team and the Gina Stewart team. Congratulations.
We were over the moon to also welcome a Lady We haven't seen around the club for quite a few years. She is 95 years young this year and she threw 2 stones in our draw to the button. Thank you for coming to see us Elfriede Brezina.
Thank you also to the 4 Newbies who joined us in the funspiel today. I hope you had fun and don't hurt too bad tomorrow. Hope you all consider joining us next year.

Want to try curling? Come on down Feb 15th and join us in a funspiel. No experience neccesary. Bring clean shoes. We will start at 10 am, play 4 end games, have potluck luncheon. Only $20 per person. Teams are drawn from the hat.
Come see what a great sport this is.

Getting excited yet? Come join us Tuesday October 22 at 1pm for afternoon curling. Come early if you need to register. It would be great if you could have your registration form filled out and ready to go.
Wednesday October 23 starts night curling at 7pm.
Haven't curled before or not sure if it is for you... it only costs $20 to try. Bring clean shoes and we have grippers, sliders and brooms for you to use.
