This picture was taken at Taylor Speedway during our PDRA touring series stop, a couple days after my first feature race win in the car. A flat right front sent me on a pretty quick journey up the hill to check the structural integrity of the wall. It passed inspection, that baby isn't going anywhere. Thankfully my safety gear also survived the test, I walked away sore but with everything other than my ego un-injured.

There's 2 shout outs I'd like to make about this incident. First of all, the safety crew at Taylor Speedway. They were at my window before I could get my net down, checking if I was okay. I went back and watched the gopro footage, it was less than 10 seconds from the time the car stopped to the time someone was there checking on me. They obviously know racecar drivers, because they were persistent while I was trying to assess car damage and made sure that I really was OK. That kind of attention and care from volunteers is a part of why I will absolutely be back out to Taylor to race again, and I would recommend the track to anyone else thinking of running as well.

The second shoutout is Chris Staverman for getting this wild shot. It's certainly not my finest moment, but it's the most air I've ever gotten in a full sized car and I'm greatful for the photographic evidence that I did a sick jump.

Under the lights at Taylor Speedway on July 31st, my favorite race of the season. We got the feature win, but only after a clean 3 wide battle for the lead that lasted almost the entire show!

After the races in Drumheller on Saturday, a bunch of drivers (myself included) had an opportunity to meet this young man and his dinosaur and it was one of the highlights of my season. We really are incredibly lucky to get to be around these cars, friends, and the track atmosphere all the time, and I'm really greatful we got a chance to briefly share that. Thank you to Carol Douglas from Drumheller for introducing us and catching the pictures!

Took the cars out for one last dance (or in the case of the Legend, a nice indoor park job by the merch booth) at Dinosaur Downs Speedway for their Thanksgiving Thunder show. The track came in awesome, even with the rain/snow/1 degree weather, thanks to a ton of hard with from the track crew. We had a fantastic time wrapping up our season! Thanks to the PDRA for putting on a delicious Thanksgiving supper, and to Murray and Jason for the unfathomable amount of work that went into the 2026 Tour!

We're finishing out our season this weekend at Dinosaur Downs Speedway in Drumheller, so it's only appropriate that we have a more 🦖 themed look.

The Melon Baller at the PDRA touring series show July 4 at Flatlanders Speedway. I love the way this car turned out so much, I can't wait to get the toys back into the paint booth this winter!
