Cornwall & Chesterville Dance Group

Join us for a fun evening of dance or a set of lessons! Dance lessons begin April 22 and continue for 8 weeks. If interested a second class is $40.00/person.

Dance to your favourite music including Rumba, Cha Cha, Triple Swing, Samba, Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Bachata and more! Covid restrictions are over so now is the time to get out and dance! Five (5), Wednesday evening dance classes will be beginning on March 30 in Cornwall and continuing until April 27, at the Centre Charles-Émile-Claude, 146b Chevrier Ave, Cornwall, ON K6H 1S1. You can sign on for:

6:00 – 7:00 Bachata

7:00 – 8:00 Samba

8:00 – 9:00 Waltz

Cost for the five 1-hour classes is $60.00/person. To register or for more information call Dennis @ 613-618-7684 or email [email protected]. Also available are dances at the Centre Charles-Émile-Claude, on the first Friday of the month from 7:00 – 10:00. Cost is $10.00 per person.

About Us & Lesson Schedule!

The Cornwall & Chesterville Dance Group offers dance lessons in Chesterville and Cornwall, for people of all ages! Dance to your favorite music including Rumba, Cha Cha, Triple Swing, Samba, Waltz, Foxtrot, Bachata, and more. Don’t know any of these styles? Not to worry - we have dance lessons from beginner to advanced.

We also hold dances in Cornwall on the first Friday of the month from 6:30pm to 10:00pm (with free lessons from 6:30pm to 7:15pm!) at the Center Charles-Émile-Claude at 146 Chevrier Avenue in Cornwall. The cost to attend is $10 per person. You can also attend dances in Chesterville every second Saturday at the Chesterville Community Centre, 1 Mill Street, from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. Cost is only $5 per person.

Lessons in Cornwall and Chesterville for Winter 2020: Cornwall lessons - Winter 2020

Our spring set of dance classes begins on April 1 and runs for 5 Wednesdays until April 29 at the Charles-Emile-Claude Center, 6:00 to 7:00 Beginner Triple Swing

7:00 to 8:00 Intermediate Tango

8:00 to 9:00 Beginner – Rumba, Bachata, Cha Cha, Mambo, Merrangue (1 night for each)

If you have done these 5 dances at some time in the past this might be a good review otherwise come out and learn the basic steps in each of them.

Classes cost $60 per person for each five-week session. If you wish to take another session, it is only $30 per person for the second or third session. To register or for more information, please email Dennis at [email protected] or by phone at 613-448-3633.

Chesterville lessons - Winter 2020

The classes being offered in the spring in Chesterville beginning Tuesday April 21 and Thursday April 23 at the Chesterville Community Center, 1 Mill Street are:

Tuesday Class schedule: 6:00 to 7:00 Level 1 - Beginner steps in Bachata, Triple Swing, Samba, Rumba, Cha Cha, Foxtrot, Waltz and Tango 7:00 to 8:00 Silver 8:00 to 9:00 Level 2 - Continuation from beginner level 1 steps Thursday Class schedule: 6:00 to 7:00 Bachata/Cha Cha (4 weeks of Bachata & 4 weeks of Cha Cha , starting at beginner level and moving forward) 7:00 to 8:00 Level 4 8:00 to 9:00 Mambo/Foxtrot (4 weeks of Mambo & 4 weeks of Foxtrot, starting at beginner level and moving forward) Classes cost $64 per person (+HST) and registration is through the Township of North Dundas at 613-774-2105.
