Popular or unpopular opinion? You decide.

Coaches shouldn't have prior relationships with the kids or parents of the team they are coaching. I know that's tough to do but in a perfect world...

Too many times we see teams, leagues and sports in general being coached by people who choose their lines over the relationships they have with other parents.

Skill and leadership should define a roster spot. Not because you golf and have BBQ's with the parents of a player.

Kids have dreams and work hard too.

Keep politics out of hockey.

Hi friends. We are back around now. I see we have a list of orders so we will get those going tomorrow and are now available for orders.

How did the nationals go? Pretty good!

Our u19 boys won silver
Our u17 boys won silver
Our u15 girls won bronze
Our u15 boys came in 4th out of 9 teams and lost in the Bronze medal game!

Root us on as we move to Nationals next week where Caleb will be representing New Tec, Ontario in New Brunswick for Nationals where he will compete against the best players in Canada. First up we play Manitoba!

This past weekend was a great success as his team won the entire tourney and will play for the National team next year in Calgary!

Lets go!

Edit: Oh and of course we have to credit the hockey pads he used while growing up to meet his perfection 😆😆😆

Another report of a hockey shooting pad being stolen off someone's driveway. And this time up North in Collingwood.

It doesn't matter where you live any longer. Your items are not safe to be left out. Please remember to drag them in your back yard or garage when not using them.

We all like to think that people at least will draw a line and would not steal from children. Sadly, this does not matter.
