There are moments in life you couldn't make it up to be this synchronistic! β¨οΈ
Today I was in White Rock visiting my Mom in the carehome and feeding my soul with a nature walkβpart of my routine whenever I come back, even though I moved to the Valley in 2024.
I spotted a woman running with six dogs and later came across them just finishing a photo. I joked that she made coordinating six dogs look easy. She laughed and said it was only because they'd already run 8 km and were tired...
I tagged her in my story, and she messaged back. Turns out they ran 10 km today, she's sober too (11yrs), and she's grateful to have found this account. She'd love to connect with more group runs! Give her a thumbs up!
Moments like this remind me how sobriety & running brings people together in unexpected ways.
A little trail magic today by the sea, a conversation with a stranger, and suddenly there's connection. β¨οΈπ²
