FIRST WIJHL CALL-UP. 🦅🐍

19U Venom HC AAA forward Cole Dulaba suited up last night for his first WIJHL call-up with the Sicamous Eagles!

A huge milestone and a well-earned opportunity to gain valuable junior hockey exposure while continuing his development with the Venom.

We’re proud to see Cole earning these opportunities and look forward to seeing him continue to AP with the Sicamous Eagles throughout the season.

🚨16U AAA DUAL SIGNING🚨 The Venom HC AAA Program is excited to officially welcome Soowan Park & Won Seok Kim to the 16U AAA roster for the 2026/27 NAPHL Season!

Coming to Abbotsford all the way from Seoul, South Korea, both 2012-born players bring an exciting international element to our lineup.

Soowan joins us as a Forward, while Won Seok joins our Defense Corps. Both players immediately stood out with their strong skating, extremely high hockey IQ, competitiveness, and relentless work ethic.

These two are the type of players who dig in for every puck battle, compete for every inch of ice, and make their teammates better. They are fantastic teammates, tremendous competitors, and truly one-of-one players in their own ways.

We believe both Soowan and Won Seok have a very bright future in hockey, and we’re excited to help them continue developing their games, gain valuable exposure, and pursue opportunities that can lead them toward junior hockey and beyond.

We can’t wait to see what you accomplish in the Venom uniform. 🐍

🚨16U SIGNING🚨Venom HC is excited to officially announce the signing of Hope, BC forward/defenseman Dayton McRae to our 2026/27 NAPHL 16U AAA team! 🐍

Dayton came out to a couple of practices with us before signing, and his size was noticed immediately. Standing at 6’0” and 215 lbs, he brings a physical presence while also moving extremely well for a player his size. But it’s more than just size. Dayton has great hands, good puck skills, and plenty of upside as he continues to develop his game.

Last season with the U18 Hope Wildcats, Dayton put together a huge year, recording 16 goals and 17 assists for 33 points in 40 games.

Now, he’s taking the next step as he works toward becoming eligible for Junior hockey over the next 2–3 years. His focus continues to be on improving his skating, speed, hands, and overall stickwork.

Just as important, Dayton has already made a great impression on our group. He’s a great character kid, works hard, and has fit in extremely well with the team. We’re excited to have him in the Venom family and can’t wait to watch him continue to grow this season!

🚨16U AAA PLAYER SIGNING🚨Venom HC AAA is excited to officially welcome Lyndon Boucher (2010) and Sylis Boucher (2011) from Hope, BC to our 16U AAA Team for the 2026/27 season!

Both brothers spent last season with Chilliwack Minor Hockey, continuing to build their games and prepare for the next step.

- Sylis Boucher — 2011�28 GP | 13 G | 20 A

With natural size, power and speed, both Lyndon and Sylis have the tools to take major steps in their development. They understand that the next few years are critical in preparing themselves for future junior hockey opportunities — and they’re ready to put in the work.

But what stood out to us just as much as their hockey ability was their character. Both brothers are great teammates, always willing to help those around them and committed to creating a positive team culture. We’re excited to have the Boucher brothers together in Venom and can't wait to see how far they can take their games.

WIJHL Announces Partnership with FloHockey

The Western International Junior Hockey League (WIJHL) is proud to announce a new partnership with FloHockey for the league’s inaugural season.

“We’re excited to partner with FloHockey and provide our fans with a high-quality viewing experience throughout our inaugural season,” said Frank Guill, WIJHL Director of Broadcasting & Digital Media. “This partnership represents an important step forward as every team in the WIJHL moves towards a league-wide broadcast standard, ensuring a professional viewing experience for fans, families, scouts, and players.”

The first WIJHL game to air on FloHockey will feature the Kelowna Chiefs visiting he Creston Valley Thunder on Friday, September 4 at 7pm.

🚨16U AAA SIGNING🚨Venom HC AAA is excited to announce the signing of 2011-born Langley, BC forward Mason Wardell to our 16U AAA roster for the 2026/27 season.

Mason became a familiar face around our program this offseason, attending multiple Venom ID Camps from April through July. Each time he stepped onto the ice, he showed us exactly what kind of player he is.

He works tirelessly on his game, competes for every puck, battles hard in the small areas, and has a natural ability to find the back of the net. But what stood out just as much was his leadership—Mason consistently pushes the players around him to be better while bringing a great attitude and a smile to the rink.

Last season with the Langley Hornets U15 AAA, Mason recorded 3 goals and 5 assists in 10 games. After watching him continue to work and compete throughout the offseason, we’re excited to officially call him a Venom.

🚨19U AAA SIGNING🚨 Venom HC AAA is excited to officially welcome Jaiveer Kullar to our 19U AAA roster for the 2026/27 season! 🐍

Standing at 6’2” | 190 lbs, Jaiveer brings size, presence, and a relentless attitude to our lineup. Last season, Jaiveer suited up for the Vancouver Whales U18 AAA, playing in 18 games and recording 5 points (3G, 2A) along with 6 PIMs.

But what really stands out is the character behind the player. Jaiveer brings a positive outlook, great attitude, and team-first mentality that will be a huge addition to our dressing room and team chemistry.

This season, he’s ready to put in the work, continue his development, and chase his next opportunity — whether that leads to Junior Hockey or College Hockey.

🚨19U SIGNING🚨 Venom HC AAA is proud to welcome Danton Sapp to Abbotsford, BC, as he joins our 19U AAA roster for the 2026/27 season. 🐍

Standing at 6’2” | 175 lbs, Danton spent last season primarily with the Battleford Beaver Blues, recording 2 assists in 13 regular-season games, followed by 1 assist in 3 playoff games.

Now, he’s ready for a new challenge. Danton is looking forward to enjoying the game, gaining valuable experience, competing outside his local hockey market, and taking on a leadership role within our dressing room.

A new city. A new opportunity. A new chapter. We’re excited to have Danton and his family make the journey from Saskatchewan to Abbotsford and become part of the Venom family.
