Registration for the 5TH Roaring Run for Jaguars 5K & 10-Mile is OPEN! 🐆🏃‍♂️

Held in observance of International Jaguar Day, this race helps raise awareness and support for jaguar conservation in Belize. It’s a fun and meaningful way to support conservation efforts at The Belize Zoo.

🔥 10-Mile Male Winners – Run for Jaguars 2025 🔥

The men delivered power, speed, and serious heart on this challenging course!

🥇 Francisco Lima, traveling all the way from Guatemala, dominated the 10-mile course on his first-ever Run for Jaguars appearance. He may be new to this event, but he’s no stranger to the running community in Belize, and he showed exactly why with a commanding performance.

🥈 Mauro Cucul of the Westrac Slick Runners claimed second place. A past Run for Jaguars champion, Mauro returned hungry and determined, leaving everything on the course in true champion style.

🥉 Wilbert Gillett Jr., better known as Mike from the Hill Treaders, secured third place. This year marked his first time taking on the 10-mile distance at Run for Jaguars, after previously competing in the 5K events and he rose to the challenge with an impressive finish.

Huge congratulations to these outstanding athletes for their strength, grit, and incredible performances. 💛🖤👏

💫 10-Mile Female Winners – Run for Jaguars 2025 💫

These ladies dominated the toughest distances of the event!

🥇 Dorsha Sabido of Quench UR Thirst claims 1st place for the second year in a row! Dorsha continues to prove her strength and endurance on the long course — and now the big question is… will next year be her three-peat? 🔥

🥈 Alberta Coh from the BDF Run Club stormed into second place with an impressive debut. A first-time Run for Jaguars competitor, she made her presence known immediately. We truly hope to see her back on the course next year!

🥉 Merlin Sansores, representing Sla Bonita Yacht Club, secured third place. Though she’s new to Run for Jaguars, she’s no stranger to the running community, and she brought her experience and fire to the course. We definitely hope to welcome her again next year!

🌟 5K Female Winners – Run for Jaguars 2025 🌟

The ladies lit up the course this year with some incredible performances!

🥇 Delmi Cornelio of the Westrac Slick Runners is your 2025 Champion! Every single year, Delmi has been stepping up her game from 3rd, to 2nd, and now all the way to 1st place. Her steady climb to the top shows pure dedication and heart. What a moment!

🥈 Irene Thiessen, also representing the Westrac Slick Runners, secured second place with her trademark strength and consistency. A powerhouse on the road, Irene is no stranger to the top she has previously claimed 1st place at Run for Jaguars and continues to be a force in the 5K.

🥉 Julio Puerto of the BDF Run Club rounded out the podium in third place. A first-time Run for Jaguars competitor, she made an impressive debut with a strong performance worthy of applause.
