The Belize District Basketball Association (BDBA) is pleased to formally invite and welcome Mr. Kashief Devaughn Thomas, who has been appointed to serve as an Executive Member of the BDBA Board for the duration of the 2023–2027 term.
Mr. Thomas is Belizean-born and currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia. He brings with him extensive business experience, along with a strong professional network in the United States that includes NBA players, college coaches, high school coaches, and direct access to the elite youth basketball circuit, including organizations such as Phenom Hoops and Outside The Perimeter (OTP) https://www.instagram.com/otp_basketball?igsh=MTQybHZpNW91Z3JtOQ== (https://www.instagram.com/phenom_hoops).
Kashief’s vision aligns closely with the BDBA’s mission, with a strong focus on youth development, coach education, and elevating basketball in Belize to a global standard. His international perspective, resources, and commitment to the growth of the sport will be invaluable as we continue to develop basketball locally while creating global opportunities for Belizean athletes and coaches.
