CALL FOR ENTRIES: BOTETI 9LIGHTS FOOTBALL FESTIVAL THEME SONG COMPETITION

The Boteti 9Lights Football Festival is looking for the voice of Boteti!
We are calling on duos, choirs, clubs, bands, and music groups from Letlhakane and all surrounding areas in Boteti to come forward and participate in our Mini Theme Song Competition.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
We need about 10 entries for a song that will be the official sound of the tournament this December.
Your song must capture the heart of Boteti:
1. Boteti Football - the passion, the pride, the rivalry
2. Our Diamonds History - Letlhakane’s legacy
3. Boteti East - Letlhakane and all villages that make us who we are
Genre is open: Khwaere, Afro-pop, Hip-hop, Traditional, House, Amapiano - bring your sound!
Language flexible to Sekalaka, Seherero, Sesarwa, Setswana.
HOW IT WORKS:
1. Submit your original theme song by [1st September 2026]
2. The Top 10 songs will be posted on our page.
3. The audience will VOTE - the song with the most votes wins!
4. The winning song will be played at the Boteti 9Lights Football Festival as a theme song in December and the artists will perform LIVE on the day
