Find The Ball It was established in 2008 in honour of the late Mr. Anthony “Find The Ball” Masogo.

'Find The Ball' is a Club Invitational Netball Tournament hosted annually on the 3rd weekend of July by Botswana Defence Force Sporting Club in Gaborone, Botswana.

The University of Botswana's UB Crystals Netball Club proudly joins the 7th Edition of the Find The Ball Netball Tournament as one of the exciting teams set to compete in the Women's Elite Category.

Fresh from an impressive campaign that saw them finish as Silver Medalists in the Division B Netball League, UB Crystals continues to establish itself as a rising force in Botswana netball. Built on youthful energy, determination, and a passion for excellence, the team represents one of the country's leading institutions of higher learning.

Adding to the occasion, UB Crystals will be competing on familiar ground as representatives of the University of Botswana_Official, home of the prestigious UB Indoor Sports Centre, the official venue for Find The Ball 2026.

With ambition in their hearts, the young Crystals will be eager to showcase their talent against some of the best clubs from Botswana and across the SADC region.

Mr Anthony “Find the ball” Masogo was more than a netball enthusiast. He was a mentor, a pioneer, and a tireless advocate for the growth of the sport in Botswana. Through his dedication, encouragement, and unwavering belief in the potential of athletes, he helped shape generations of players and contributed significantly to the development of netball, particularly men's netball, in the country.

Known affectionately as "Find The Ball," he embodied the values of commitment, discipline, sportsmanship, and excellence. His love for the game inspired countless athletes, coaches, officials, and supporters who continue to carry his vision forward.

Today, the Find The Ball Invitational Netball Tournament stands as a tribute to his enduring legacy. Every pass, every goal, every victory, and every young athlete given an opportunity to shine reflects the dream of a man who believed that netball could unite communities, empower youth, and transform lives.

As we prepare for the 7th Edition of the tournament, we proudly remember the man whose name inspires this great event and whose legacy continues to guide its purpose.

The Prisons Netball Club arrives at the 7th Edition of the Find The Ball Netball Tournament carrying renewed ambition and momentum. Currently on a path of revival, the club has been making significant strides across various categories, demonstrating its commitment to developing competitive netball talent.

The club's Women's Team recently earned champions status after winning the B Division, while the Senior Men's Team continues to prove its competitiveness in league action. The future is equally bright, with the club's Under-17 Team emerging as one of the exciting development sides to watch.

Prisons Netball Club is ready to test itself against the region's finest as it seeks to announce its return among Botswana's netball elite.
