Before we tell the stories, let's first introduce the two brothers who carried the Yellow Birds badge with pride.
Unabo "Jerry" Mbako Siku and Kumbulani "Bodzo/Nzama" Siku, sons of the late Charles Siku, one of the true legends of Yellow Birds. May his soul continue to rest in eternal peace. 🕊️💛

They say "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree," and these two proved it on the football field. They inherited not only their father's love for the game, but also his fighting spirit, passion, and commitment. Ba ka todza 🤞🏽🤞🏽

KGAMAPO TOURNAMENT 2026 – FEEDBACK ON CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS & BURNING ISSUES

✅ CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS APPROVED
1️⃣ Transfer Window
Transfer window will officially close immediately after the AGM.
No transfer letters will be accepted thereafter.

2️⃣ Transfer Withdrawals
Players wishing to withdraw a transfer request must do so through a formal letter.
Phone calls and verbal communication will not be accepted.

3️⃣ Knockout Matches
All knockout matches ending in a draw will proceed directly to penalties.
Extra time has been removed.

4️⃣ Affiliation Fee
Increased from P200 to P300.

5️⃣ Village-at-Large Prize
The prize remains in place but will now be renamed the Charity Prize.
PTA and VDC allocations will be combined and shared.

6️⃣ Committee Catering & Allowances
A cash allocation of P3,000 will be provided for committee support.
Catering arrangements will be made independently to ensure all serving committee members are catered for throughout the tournament.

7️⃣ Player Transfers
Any player transferring between teams must:
Notify their current team through a letter.
Submit a letter to the new team.
Copy both letters to the committee.

8️⃣ First Aid Kits
Every team must present a first aid kit before the tournament begins.
Non-compliance will attract a penalty.

📌 All approved amendments will be implemented during the 2026 Tournament.

⚽ FEEDBACK ON ISSUES RAISED BY TEAMS
🟡 Masukwane Yellow Birds
✅ Number of medals to match the official team list, including technical staff.
❌ Proposal to replace the Constitution with separate playing rules and regulations was not approved.

🔵 Kgari United
⚪ Proposal regarding two-year sponsorship and hosting rights was withdrawn.
🦅 Kgari Eagles
❌ Proposal to eliminate match forfeitures was not approved.
❌ Proposal to establish a Football Court/Appeals Committee was not approved.

🔴 Pole Warriors
✅ Danger tape to be installed around the pitch for crowd control.
✅ Chairs and safety tape to be provided for team benches.
✅ Existing constitutional channels for complaints, protests and referee-related matters will continue to be used.
❌ Proposal for a qualified medic to oversee team medics was not approved due to financial constraints.

💺 In addition, team representatives, advisors and committee members agreed to support the tournament by donating a minimum of 10 chairs. Those willing to contribute are encouraged to contact the Kgamapo Treasurer, Ms Olga Monamati.

CONCLUSION
Several teams did not submit proposals, expressing satisfaction with the current Constitution and confidence in its ability to guide the administration and management of the tournament.

One of the good days a bo go nna le mmeche le one of the local team during the cause of the year...Ne a tshameka ka lenao ale shoeless 🤣🤣, kanti motho o itse bolo... Bathu ba ka sala ba ka zwi bata melomo... Within a week ke fa a tlelwa soccer boot from South Africa ke Mr Majaga, puma hela e kwenkwetla ele green bottom 🔥💚 🔥

Moffat was very skill full a nale pace, ne a go dribbler gore o itsheke dikeledi 🤞🏽🤣 ale a striker position 7...Nako nngwe a dira metlholo e mengwe jaana... Goalkeeper a gobetse go sena reserve, ke fa a re ke tlaa thiba 😳😳 aahh yeela, batho ba re nyaa mr mene, mme they ended up giving in caz ne a sena maikaelelo a go itlhoboga 🤭🤭.. Ka nnete a thiba the whole game, ijooo kante motho ke goalkeeper hela ya maemo a ntlha, le fa o ka raga bolo e hot jang o e kapa hela nkare o tshameka netball...a bo a felela a nna goalkeeper mme ntse a tshameka gape mo teng 🔥🔥man of many talents 🤗...he was a complete player, ele favourite ya coach Mr Majola, a rekelwa di soccer boots every year🤭😂..
