Today we celebrate the man affectionately known as the “Father of Botswana” but did you know before he was Botswana’s 1st President… He was literally No.1 — in goal! 😎🧤

He laid the foundation for a united Botswana .... and just like football, unity is everything. One team. One dream. One Botswana.

Whether it's politics or penalties, he believed in fair play, discipline, and pushing forward. So today, as we enjoy the game or a good braai, let’s salute a man who made sure we had a country to cheer from in the first place.
