Every team goes through difficult moments. For Desert Lions AFC, the most recent tournament was certainly one of those moments.
The Lions struggled throughout the competition, losing all their matches and finishing at the bottom of the standings.
But perhaps this is where the real story begins.
A lion that has been knocked down is still a lion. 🦁
While other teams may look at the Lions' recent results and see an easy opponent, football has a funny way of punishing those who become too comfortable.
The Motokwe Independence Tournament gives Desert Lions AFC a clean slate and another opportunity to change the narrative.
The question is not how the Lions finished last time.
