As stipulated by Water Utilities - Only Members of the Gaborone Yacht Club may go on the water, so unfortunately non-members may not part-take in the kayaking leg. Dates to be announced monthly - Usually the last Sunday of every month but this may be subject to change due to public holidays and other circumstances. There are 3 legs 1.) Trail Running 2.) Mountain Biking 3.) Kayak
ing. Each activity is split into two distances, to accommodate all fitness levels. The Trail Run
8km - Starts at Sefelana in commerce park - up Kgale hill and back to Sefelana.
14km - Starts at Yacht club - up Kgale hill and back to the Yacht Club. The Cycle
10km - A short loop along the flood plains of the dam with option of staying on the flats or taking on some more technical rocky sections
20km - Starts of along the flood plains of dam crossing the A1 then to the saddle, Mokolodi 1 and back across the A1 the return to yacht club along the flood plains of the dam. The Kayak (Members Only)
Two loops around the dam of either 4km or 8km where buoy's and landmarks will be used to mark the route. For those who have SUP's and want to use them, a shorter course can be arranged.
