JOE A GRADUATE OF FOUR-DAY WORKSHOP

We are delighted to congratulate one of our own Joseph Peter. The latter popularly known as Joe to football fraternity took part in a four day International professional scouting (IPSO) organisation workshop on the sidelines of the the just ended COSAFA tournament. The programme is aimed at strengthening scouting capacity and equipping local scouts with modern player identification and analysis skills.

The workshop was facilitated by international scouting professionals Anthony Destombes and Colin Chambers, focused on scouting analysis and the development of local scouting expertise.

The training provided participants with practical insights into professional scouting methodologies, including player assessment, performance analysis and talent identification.

KRFA REPRESENTED AT THE BFA/COSAFA GENERAL COORDINATORS WORKSHOP⚽📚

The Kgatleng Regional Football Association was proudly represented by Mr Moreetsi Kediseng, Ms Doreen Windah Mogapi and Mr Loago Mosweu at the General Coordinators Workshop held at the BFA Auditorium.

The workshop, conducted from 23–25 August 2026, formed part of the COSAFA Legacy Programme and was aimed at strengthening knowledge and skills in general coordination and football administration.

KRFA continues to prioritise capacity building, professional development and stronger football administration by ensuring that its leadership and officials are exposed to relevant training opportunities.

Congratulations to our representatives on successfully completing the workshop and receiving their certificates.

FRAFA would like to congratulate their esteemed Exco Members, Vice Secretary Mr. Phillip Prince Zhungule and Treasurer Ms. Bontle Gaseitsiwe along with Killer Pass Media Officer Mr. Engemadzo Mokgwebe who recently graduated from the General Coordinators. The workshop was conducted by CAF General Coordinator Mr. Titus Kunamuene on the sideline of the ongoing CAF Women’s Champions League quailfiers at Gaborone United Stadium.

UNDER 23 NATIONAL SCOUT

This morning the Botswana Football Association through its official experts and coaches held the national under 23 selection in our region at Enesia Grounds in Gerald. The selection led by The Zebras National Team head coach Morena Ramoreboli attracted 106 players from all corners of our region all trying to make it to the squad which will be assembled at the end of this month. Also in attendance was experts like Phillimon Makwengwe to oversee the proceedings. Welcoming this development was FRAFA committee who made sure that grounds were available and helped with any other logistical support to the selection team.

Come watch giants like Township Rollers, home town darlings TAFIC FC tussle it out with Premier League rookies Tonota FC as well as Zambian giants in Nkana FC.Well the fun doesn’t end there as the ladies also want to leave their mark on the beautiful pitch, Strong Boys and Ladies, Tonota Ladies, Tutume Rangers and Mosetse SC.

We sadly announce the passing of Edwin Sguma popularly known in football circles as “Cellular”. Cellular served as part of TASC management at the time of his passing and we want to give family time to mourn their loved one. All the details pertaining his funeral arrangements will be shared.
