We have successfully conducted the Cricket Criiio Programme at our school. The programme provided students with a wonderful opportunity to learn and develop basic cricket skills in a fun, engaging, and supportive environment. Through various activities and games, students learned important skills such as batting, bowling, catching, throwing, and teamwork.

The programme also encouraged students to participate actively in physical activities, build confidence, develop discipline, and understand the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship. The students showed great enthusiasm and enjoyed every activity throughout the programme. Overall, the Cricket Criiio Programme was successfully conducted and served as a valuable platform for promoting cricket and encouraging students to develop a healthy and active lifestyle.🏏

Today, we successfully conducted an Inter School Khuru Tournament between our two houses, Nima House and Dawa House. The tournament provided students with a wonderful opportunity to participate in one of our traditional Bhutanese games while developing teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and a healthy competitive spirit.
Both houses participated with great enthusiasm, determination, and team spirit. The matches were exciting and enjoyable, with students encouraging and supporting their teammates throughout the tournament.🙏🎉

Today, we are very happy to finally receive the tracksuits that we had ordered. We would like to extend our sincere appreciation and gratitude to Sir Chencho Wangdi for kindly taking our orders, arranging everything, and supplying the tracksuits to us. We truly appreciate your support, patience, and effort in making sure that we received them safely and on time.

Tracksuits are not only sportswear but also an important part of promoting team spirit, unity, discipline, and a sense of belonging among our students and staff. Wearing the same tracksuit gives us a common identity and helps us look organized and united during sports activities, competitions, school programmes, and other events. It also provides comfort and flexibility, allowing students to participate in physical activities and sports more comfortably.
For our school, having proper tracksuits is especially meaningful as we continue to encourage students to take part in sports and physical activities. It can motivate them to be more active, build confidence, develop teamwork, and maintain a healthy lifestyle. It also represents our school with pride whenever we participate in competitions and programmes outside the school.

I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Regional Coach Miss Kar Ma Dema and Bhutan Cricket for generously providing cricket equipment to our school. This valuable support will greatly help our students learn and develop their cricket skills in a better and more practical way.
The equipment will provide students with opportunities to practise regularly, understand the fundamentals of cricket, and develop teamwork, discipline, confidence, and sportsmanship. We truly appreciate the effort and support extended towards encouraging young students to take an interest in cricket and sports.

In some of our local communities, carrom has traditionally been viewed as a game associated with people who spend their time idly, leading to the misconception that it is a game for bad people.However, this is only a perception and does not reflect the true value of the game.

Carrom is a recognized indoor sport that is played in schools, clubs, and competitions around the world. When played in a positive and supervised environment, it helps develop concentration, strategic thinking, patience, hand eye coordination, and good sportsmanship. It also provides students with a healthy recreational activity, encourages social interaction, and keeps them engaged in meaningful leisure rather than unproductive activities.

By introducing carrom in school, we aim to change this misconception and help students understand that any game, when played responsibly and with the right purpose, can contribute to learning, personal development, and a healthy lifestyle.Nimshong Primary School

The celebration provided children with an opportunity to learn, explore, and express themselves through play in a safe and enjoyable environment.

The day was filled with laughter, excitement, and teamwork as students engaged in different activities that promoted creativity, physical fitness, communication, and social interaction. Through play, children developed important life skills such as cooperation, problem-solving, confidence, and respect for others.
