Our mission is to provide young Bhutanese tennis players with the best resources and opportunities available to reach their maximum potential and compete in renowned tennis tournaments locally, regionally, and internationally. The 1st Bhutan Junior Tennis Championship is officially underway, and our BTF president, as Chief Guest, made it a resounding success! All the juniors are incredibly excited for this tournament, and we extend our sincere thanks to our board members and the Bhutan Wine Company. This event wouldn't have been possible without our amazing sponsors, so a huge thank you to all of them! The Bhutan Tennis Federation is deeply grateful for the support from BoC and many others, including BBS and the parents. We truly appreciate everyone's contributions and apologize if we've missed acknowledging any supporters. Thank you all for championing Bhutanese tennis and our young players! Everyone is welcome to come and watch the matches until May 24th, 2026, with a potential final on the evening of the 25th to allow office workers, parents, and all tennis lovers to enjoy the live action. The Bhutan Tennis Federation and Pelkhil School have officially signed a 6-month Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote and develop tennis among young students. The tennis program officially started on 13th May 2026 with the aim of introducing students to the sport, improving fitness, discipline, and building future tennis talent in Bhutan. Through this partnership, students will receive coaching sessions and opportunities to learn the fundamentals of tennis in a positive and active environment. Both organizations look forward to a successful collaboration and the growth of tennis at the grassroots level.
