🚨 URGENT INFORMATION – THIMPHU MARATHON 2026

BIB Expo & T-Shirt Distribution Venue Changed

Dear Runners,

Due to unavoidable circumstances and ongoing engagements at Changlimthang Stadium, the venue for the Thimphu Marathon BIB Expo and T-Shirt Distribution has been changed.

📍 NEW VENUE: Clock Tower, Thimphu
📅 DATE: 18 September 2026
⏰ TIME: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM

🏃 RACE START & FINISH POINTS – 19 SEPTEMBER 2026

Please take note of the following race arrangements:

42.195 km Full Marathon
📍 Start: Kuenselphodrang Buddha Point

21.1 km Half Marathon
📍 Start: Kuenselphodrang Buddha Point

10 km Peace Run
📍 Start: Kuenselphodrang Buddha Point

5 km Green Run
📍 Start: Clock Tower

2.5 km Memorial Run
📍 Start: Clock Tower

🏁 FINISH POINT FOR ALL RACES: CLOCK TOWER

⏰ RACE START TIMES

* Full Marathon – 5:00 AM
* Half Marathon – 5:10 AM
* 10 km Peace Run – 5:20 AM
* 5 km Green Run – 8:00 AM
* 2.5 km Memorial Run – 8:00 AM

⚠️ IMPORTANT: All participants are requested to arrive at their respective starting points at least 60 minutes before their race start time.

We kindly request all participants to take note of the revised BIB Expo venue and the race start and finish arrangements.

All runners can now view the full race‑day route maps directly on our official website www.bhutanmarathon.com.

To access the Route Map section:

1. Visit Route Map on the website
2. Click View Map
3. Log in to Strava using your email
4. Enter the OTP sent to your email
5. After signing in, you can explore all route details for every category

This ensures every participant can study the course in advance and prepare confidently for 19th September 2026.
