Peace at last Kelly...

If ever there was an angel placed here on earth, Kelly is it.
Not blessed with a strong physical heart that needed a pacemaker in her 40's. Overcoming cancers until now.
Inspite of everything that would have put most down physically she was a blinding ray of sunshine, radiating love and joy world wide.
When Green Peace capt Paul Watson was being internationally sought after, she was on the boat in California that took him to a waiting ship heading out until things were settled. She was a main force getting the medical facts into the population concerning Mercury in our fillings which had caused her first cancel bout... even getting her friend Dan Ackroyd and others together, putting a movie together on the subject.
She was always available to help others in their times of need.
Her stories of healing and helping others are endless.
We spoke often in the past few months as she wished to come back out to be with her dolphin family. Each time her body would caution her.
So we did visualizations over the phone when she wished.
Today is heartbreaking, at the same time at blessing having spent time with someone so kind, warm, truthful, giving and full of love that was given to all who knew her and beyond.
You touched so many in very special ways and now you are flying free...
The dolphins always loved you beautifully and now you can be with them always...

Ted Turner has sadly passed.
Many moons ago I sat dinning with a date at the Coral Reef Yacht Club in Coconut Grove with a table next to Ted and his date. I was telling one of my silly stories to my friend and he over heard. He started laughing so hard that he almost came out of his seat. That was the evening we first met.
I was racing Star boats and Hobie Cats at the time as he had also.
I was lucky enough to be taken under his wing for a short time. He invited me to crew on his well known SORC racing boat Tenacious for several of the scheduled races. Then crewing on his practice 12 meter boat in Newport that paced his 12 meter boat in the trials. He skippered Courageous on to win the Americas Cup race.
He always took care of his crew and others before himself, always.

Robert Edward Turner III (November 19, 1938 – May 6, 2026 "mouth of the South" Captain Couragious :" Ted Turner is a legendary yachtsman, best known for skippering Courageous to victory in the 1977 America's Cup and winning the 1979 storm-ravaged Fastnet Race. Nicknamed "Captain Outrageous" and "The Mouth of the South," he was a4-time Rolex Yachtsman of the Year who transformed sailing with his aggressive, high-stakes racing style Key aspects of Ted Turner’s sailing career:America's Cup (1977): After being doubted by the New York Yacht Club for his "mercurial" personality, Turner dominated the defender trials and won the America's Cup 4-0 in 1977 with Courageous.1979 Fastnet Race: Turner won the notoriously dangerous 1979 Fastnet race as skipper of the 61-foot Tenacious, overcoming a fierce storm.

He was named Yachtsman of the Year four times and was inducted into the National Sailing Hall of Fame in 2011.

He was a rare, wealthy industrialist who never let go of his principles and put most of his money backing those principles up.

Something personal I never thought I might post, but if it helps or has meaning for one person.
In July, a coupn the morning feeling numb and not able to feel anything throughout my body. No pain, just not being able to move. After four days the most of my body mechanics and equilibrium came back.
We chartered the next week and did finish the summer season.
My body through the following weeks regressed back again to little mobility and and big loss of balance when moving.
Fortunately we have one of the top medical surgeons anywhere keeping his boat here, is a good friend with constructive healing advice.
I was bed ridden until December. And now almost completely healed.
Getting stronger and working out again.
Its the first time in my life that my body let me down with no apparent explanation.
First time that something has emotionally scared me, not knowing if I might not walk, dive, bike ever again. Much less anything else...
Through testing and much research it seems like the double covid shots that we had to take to reenter the Bahamas so we could come back to work is the culprit.
I apologize for not staying in touch with everyone as I was not operating emotionally very well, actually quite scared during this time.
I am back now and feeling well and looking forward to this season.
I wish to thank a special friend who has been out with us several times in the past 12 years. She's from Holland but gives her love and life to taking care and bettering the lives of South African children. She was in need of a recharge and was kind enough to come and spend a month here putting up with my unique situation.
We all react differently to what life shares with us. Please be careful what you or others might put in your body. I would never have taken the vaccine excepting that it was the only way to come back to the Bahamas and be with our human/dolphin family and our wild dolphin family...
