We met at 17. ❤️
Three years later we got married. We were young, already had our firstborn, and for reasons I still can’t fully explain, I decided to marry this man ON HIS BIRTHDAY. So every September 2nd this household has entirely too much to celebrate.
Happy Birthday, baby! 🎂❤️ And Happy 15th Anniversary to US. 🥂
15 years married.
4 kids.
Living abroad together.
Moving back home.
Building a business together.
A LOT of growing up.
A LOT of learning.
And probably a few thousand “what do you want to eat?” conversations that went absolutely nowhere. 😭😂
We really did grow up together.
People thought we got married too young. Maybe we did. Lol We certainly didn’t have everything figured out. But we fought hard for what we have, built a life together, raised four beautiful children and we’re still learning each other as we grow and change.
And one thing about me, you won’t see me putting every intimate detail of our marriage on social media. Marriage is between two people. Some things are sacred, and some parts of our story simply belong to us. ❤️
Our marriage isn’t perfect. We aren’t perfect. But it’s REAL.
We’ve loved each other, annoyed each other, grown together, worked together, raised babies together and somehow decided owning a business together wasn’t enough togetherness.
And 15 years later… here we are.
From two 17-year-olds who had absolutely NO idea what they were getting themselves into… to four kids, a business and a whole life later. 🥹❤️
Happy 15th Anniversary to us.
And Happy Birthday to the man who has never had to worry about forgetting our anniversary. ❤️🥂
