Shaune Adderley and Mark Roberts have been asked to be part of a 6 man team to ski to the North Pole this coming April. The 2 week trip includes travel, training, preparation and the final 5 day ski on floating ice sheets to reach the geographical North Pole. The New Zealand team of 4 have all had Antarctic experience as they have all been to the South Pole. The North Pole is a lot more dangerous
and challenging as the 100 mile trek is 100% on moving sheets of ice that are also separated by water in some places! It is rated as one of the top 20 toughest challenges in the world and Sean & Mark will be the 2nd and 3rd Bahamians to have ever accomplished the task.
