Nagpasya ang Sangguniang Kabataan na magsagawa ng one-day sports league bawat kategorya sa halip na pangmatagalang liga bilang konsiderasyon sa kasalukuyang mga isyung kinakaharap ng bansa tulad ng pagtaas ng presyo ng gasolina, iba’t ibang gastusin, at pagiging praktikal sa badyet. Isinaalang-alang din ng konseho ang availability at convenience ng mga kalahok, volunteers, at SK officials upang masiguro ang maayos at epektibong pagsasagawa ng aktibidad.

Sa kabila ng mas maikling programa, nananatiling layunin ng SK na itaguyod ang sportsmanship, pagkakaisa, aktibong partisipasyon ng kabataan, at malusog na pamumuhay sa ating komunidad.

The Municipal Government of Nagcarlan, Laguna under the leadership of Mayor Arch/CE Elmor Vitangcol Vita proudly implements 𝐎𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐍𝐨. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔-𝟐𝟓𝟕, the Sports Incentives Ordinance, reinforcing its commitment to recognizing excellence and dedication in the field of sports.

Last March 18, 2026, held at the Municipal Evacuation Center, a total of 𝟏𝟒𝟒 𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐬 received their well-deserved incentives for the A.Y. 2024–2025, celebrating their hard work, discipline, and achievements in representing the municipality.

Thus, the newly institutionalized ordinance, amending Ordinance No. 2018-166, introduces increased incentive rates and expands its coverage beyond athletes. It now includes coaches, assistant coaches, trainers, and chaperones, acknowledging their vital role in every success.

This initiative is made possible through the efforts of the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Nagcarlan, with Hon. Laurence Sombilla as the author of the ordinance, and with the full support of Mayor Vita.

Through this initiative, the Municipality continues to uplift not only its athletes but also the mentors and support system behind every victory, fostering a stronger and more inclusive sports community.
