БКХУ Левски спечели първо място на международния турнир по баскетбол на колички в София

С гордост споделяме, че на 2 и 3 септември София бе домакин на вълнуващ международен турнир по баскетбол на колички, организиран в рамките на UTAB Project (United Through Adapted Basketball – 101183757) – европейска инициатива, която цели да насърчава приобщаването, толерантността и развитието на баскетбола.

Събитието бе осъществено с подкрепата на нашите партньори – FIBA World, FIBA Foundation, IWBF Europe (партньори-асоциирани организации), както и баскетболните федерации на Армения, Украйна и Румъния.

FIBA Foundation е социалното звено на Международната баскетболна федерация (FIBA), което работи за развитие на баскетбола по света и за използване на играта като инструмент за социална промяна. Фондацията подкрепя инициативи, които насърчават приобщаването, равния достъп до спорта и образователните програми чрез баскетбол. Нейната мисия е да вдъхновява и свързва хората, като използва баскетбола за изграждане на по-силни и сплотени общности.
В продължение на два дни отборите на БКХУ Левски, Украйна, Румъния и Армения изиграха няколко срещи, които показаха колко енергия, воля и любов имат към играта - баскетбол.

Резултати:
БКХУ Левски – Украйна: 85 – 17
Армения – БКХУ Левски: 9 – 93
Румъния – БКХУ Левски: 28 – 81

Нашият отбор се представи блестящо, спечели всичките си мачове и заслужено зае първото място в крайното класиране.

Благодарим на всички участници, организатори, съдии, доброволци и публика за това, че направиха тези два дни истински празник на спорта. Специална благодарност и към Доц. д-р Офелия Кънева, президент на БКХУ „Левски“, за подкрепата, както и към г-н Коста Илиев, спортен директор на ФИБА Европа, за присъствието, ангажираността и мотивиращото послание към всички отбори. Особено признателни сме на Тити Папазов, президент на Баскетболен клуб Левски, който лично уважи събитието, награди шампионите и поздрави отбора ни за отличното представяне.
