U.S. President Donald Trump warned European countries about immigration during a July 2025 visit to Scotland, declaring: “This immigration is killing Europe.”

Trump urged Europe to tighten its immigration policies, warning that countries needed to “get your act together” and stop what he described as a “horrible invasion.”

🇨🇭🇲🇦 Switzerland has announced a series of deportation flights to Morocco in the coming weeks after months of difficulties getting Moroccan authorities to identify and take back nationals ordered to leave.

There are currently 353 Moroccans required to leave Switzerland. In the canton of Bern alone, 83 are subject to removal; 41 have been identified, but 23 of those have disappeared and another 14 are either in pretrial detention or serving prison sentences.

🇪🇸🇲🇦 Spain’s National Police have arrested 19 people in Jaén, Málaga, Tenerife and Melilla in the latest phase of an investigation into a network accused of fraudulently obtaining residence permits for illegal migrants through fake domestic partnerships with Spanish women.

Investigators say they identified more than 300 residence applications obtained fraudulently across Spain. Most of the registered couples involved men of Moroccan origin and Spanish women who did not previously know each other and had no genuine personal relationship.

Police say the organization could charge up to €12,000 per person.

Authorities estimate the network’s leaders may have made more than €30 million through the wider operation.
