What an amazing day celebrating local agriculture, the Clark Fork River, and the incredible communities that make this region so special!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, and helped make this year's Pedal & Farm Tour a success. We loved spending the day exploring our beautiful valley, supporting local farms, enjoying great food and music, and connecting with our community.

The Clark Fork River's third annual Pedal and Farm tour, presented by Friends of Scotchman Peaks, Kaniksu Land Trust, MSU Extension, and Bonner County Extension, happened on Saturday starting in Heron. 🚴 Pedal to Farm Stop Spotlight – Black Pine Farm 🌾

Step onto a true Montana family ranch at Black Pine Farm, where hard work, stewardship, and a passion for agriculture come together.

Established in the 1980s, Black Pine Farm has grown into a respected registered Black Angus operation focused on producing high-quality breeding stock through decades of careful genetic improvement. Today, the ranch manages approximately 120 mother cows, raising calves that are born, cared for, and prepared right here on the farm before spending the summer grazing local pastures throughout Heron, Thompson Falls, and Clark Fork.

Your visit will also include the story of Bill Jensen Logging, a family business rooted in the forests of Sanders County since the 1970s.
