🏁 GK4 Kart Series – Round 5, Kerpen 🏁: What a weekend for the CRG Belgium squad! 💪We brought home no less than 4 podium! 🧡🖤

🥇 KA100: Leopold Fermen was untouchable — pole-to-flag domination, taking the win in the final! Teammate Maxime Verriest fought through the pack to bring it home P5.

🥈🥉 Mini: A CRG Belgium 1-2 lockout all weekend long! Lukas Vanderheeren swept warmup, qualifying, and both heats from pole, crossing the line P2 in the final after a hard-fought battle. Right behind him, Julian Janssen charged from P6 in qualifying to P3 at the flag. Maxim Defoort rounded out the team’s day in P8.

🏆 Mini Rookie: Maxime Bal showed real pace all day with P2 in quali and both heats, before a tough final saw him finish in P9. Ferre Lapere brought it home in P11.

🥉 Open Shifter (KZ2): Gil Mertens grabbed pole, struggled a bit through the heats, but fought hard for that solid P3 finish despite a rough Heat 2.

⚡ Rotax Max Senior: Liam van Haecke kept it consistent all day for P5 in the final. Joe Verhoeven fought back from a Heat 1 setback to finish P14.

Huge thanks to the whole team, mechanics, and families for another great round. On to the next one! Thanks to CRG KART and Giancarlo Tinini for the great chassis!

Last week our team participated in the IAME Euro Series 🇪🇺 at Karting Genk . For some it was their final race in Mini, for others a first learning opportunity at this level 🌱. But each of them wanted to prove their potential 💪.

In X30 Mini, .gilles and Lukas Vanderheeren discovered the tactical moves of the front runners during qualifying, putting them in a difficult position to set a good lap time. Gilles set down some solid results during the heats with a P8 and P10 🔥. They finished in respectively 27th and 23rd position in the final, with Lukas being one of the highest movers 📈.

In X30 Junior, Victor Ruyts qualified P38 of 49 drivers. He posted a very strong result in the superheat with a P10 finish, and by doing so managed to qualify for the final in his first Euro Series 🎉. Unfortunately he had to retire the kart early.

Thanks to all drivers and mechanics for the positive mindset, motivation and results 🙌. A lot of learning opportunities for these young drivers. Thanks to CRG KART and Giancarlo Tinini for the great chassis 🙏.

Onwards to Kerpen, for round 5 of the GK4 Kart Series! 🚀

🏁 Round 5 of Iame Series Benelux took us to the fast and technical Genk circuit — one of Belgium’s most iconic tracks — for a scorching hot race weekend! ☀️🔥🌡️ With temperatures soaring and track conditions demanding everything from our drivers and equipment, it was a true test of consistency and grit. Yet we took home again two podiums! 💪🎉

🧡 X30 Junior With no prior experience on the CRG chassis, Victor Ruyts still fought his way into the A-Final! 👏🚀 That’s a huge achievement and shows real potential. Crossed the line P22 in the Final. Léopold Fermen had a tougher time out there 😤, but the team keeps its head up and looks ahead to the next round. 🔧👊

🧡 Mini Maxim Defoort was genuinely quick all weekend — his pace was actually good enough for a P4 in his qualifying group ⚡ — but a setback made the race more difficult. He fought hard to finish P24. Head high, speed was there! 💪🔥 Lukas Vanderheeren didn’t have his strongest qualifying, but he showed exactly why he’s one to watch by charging through the field, and with some luck, taking a P3 podium finish! 🥉🎉 That result keeps him a strong 4th in the championship standings. 📈 Julian Janssen and Gilles Dewaele, who was 6th in qualifying in his group, battled through a competitive midfield all day, finishing P19 and P20 respectively — solid experience banked for the next rounds. 🏎️💨

🧡 Mini Rookie Another solid drive from Maxime Bal! ⭐ Consistent and fast all weekend but a mistake from a competitor resulting in the loss of P1 😅. He finished it off with a brilliant P2 anyway in the Final! 🥈🔥 Ferre Lapere and Jules Flahaut kept pushing hard in a stacked rookie field, bringing it home in P15 and P18 — great learning experience for these young talents. 🧡

Huge thanks as always to Giancarlo Tinini and CRG KART for the continued support! 🙏🏎️💨 and to Racing Team Claude Bal for the engines and good advice 🙌🔧. Again top work by our mechanics! 👏🛠️

Summer break ☀️ is over 😂 and we’re back to Karting Genk for round 5 of the Iame Series Benelux 🇧🇪🇳🇱. We’ve got some championship points waiting for us boys! 👊🏻 Let’s go… flat out 🧡🖤

Round 4 of the IAME Series Benelux 🇧🇪🇳🇱 took us to Genk, and brought us nothing less than two podiums! 🏆🏆 A memorable weekend with rainy conditions right before the final ⛈️ and fantastic fights in both Mini classes. 🔥

🧡 In Mini Rookie, the final was raced in tricky, rainy conditions 🌧️🌦️ — and Maxime showed great control to take the win, after qualifying in P5 earlier in the day! 🥇🔥 Ferre worked hard all day and finished P12, showing good progress 💪. Benjamin had a great first experience with the team, but had some contact along the way 💥 and finished P25 in the final. He kept fighting until the end though! 👊

🧡 Our Minis worked hard throughout the day ☀️➡️🌧️ and raced their final just after a fresh rain shower, making things extra tricky with the track rapidly drying up. Lukas had a strong weekend, qualifying P2 in his group, and brought it home in a great P2! 🥈🎉 Maxim was very fast all day, setting the fastest lap in Heat 3 ⚡🚀 and helping Lukas out there 🤝. He finished P7 in the final. Julian kept improving all weekend and crossed the line in P22 📈. Gilles had a tough final and finished P24, but showed good speed earlier in the day, moving forward from his qualifying position to even P10 in heat 3 👏.

🧡 In X30 Junior, Léopold qualified P31 in a stacked field, but clawed his way forward through three tough heats (P10, P17, P12) to finish P16 in the Final 📈💪 — solid progress from where he started.
