Thought about competing again this year: check out the Belgian 🇧🇪 grappling scene, and get some more notches under my brown belt. Was hoping to be competing around this time but then these last few months life happened (like everyone repeatedly getting sick because we’re used to SD weather and Torvin ending up in the hospital for 9 days or something crazy like buying a house 🥹) and just overall training went 📉. I know fighting definitely isn’t happening this year… But maybe, just maybe we get to squeeze some jits in ♥️

My first loss was a tough one. And it wasn’t the last. But I’d rather be a loser than a quitter who never had a chance to be either. 👊🏽

I know 2026 is going to be another year of trials, adventures, and wins (maybe in different areas than I’m used to) but I’m ready. Once I’m over this awful flu that is.. What in the…. 😩

One of the best parts of December is celebrating these 2 and their gotcha-days. 🥹

On December 19th, 2014, I adopted Amari from the pound in Macon: she’s been my ride or die ever since ♥️ I was getting worried, that now at 12 years old I wouldn’t get to spend much longer with her.. After her surgery here in Belgium, it’s like she became a pup all over again! 🥹 Here’s to many more years, my sweet girl.

I can’t believe our Elf-doofus has been a part of our family for over 5 years now! He was so tiny 😭. December 5th, 2020, told me I got an Elf for Christmas 🫶🏽 Our Foster Fail/ Mexico Mutt/ MexMix 😂/ Elfers. ♥️

From coast to coast, and different continents, our pups will always be a part of this family. 🥰
