Helaas moet ik meedelen dat Ermitage en ik ons noodgedwongen moeten terugtrekken voor het Wereldkampioenschap in Aken.
Na de Grand Prix van Riesenbeck liep Ermitage een blessure op. Na verder onderzoek is duidelijk geworden dat het niet verantwoord is om hem aan de start te brengen op het kampioenschap . Zijn gezondheid en welzijn staan altijd op de eerste plaats, hoe moeilijk die beslissing ook is.
De teleurstelling is enorm. We hadden van dit kampioenschap een groot doel gemaakt en de vorm die we de afgelopen weken in La Baule en Riesenbeck hebben laten zien, gaf ons veel vertrouwen en motivatie richting Aken.

Unfortunately, I have to share that Ermitage and I are forced to withdraw from the World Championships in Aachen.
After the Grand Prix of Riesenbeck, Ermitage sustained an injury. Following further examinations, it has become clear that it would not be responsible to bring him to the start of the championship. His health and well-being will always come first, no matter how difficult this decision is.
The disappointment is immense. We had made this championship one of our biggest goals, and the form we showed over the past few weeks in La Baule and Riesenbeck gave us great confidence and motivation heading into Aachen.
