Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn…

If milk gets bad, it becomes yoghurt. Yoghurt is more valuable than milk. If it gets even worse, it turns to cheese. Cheese is more valuable than both yoghurt and milk. And if grape juice turns sour, it transforms into wine, which is even more expensive than grape juice. You are not bad because you made mistakes. Mistakes are the experiences that make you more valuable as a person. Christopher Columbus made a navigational error that made him discover America. Alexander Fleming’s mistake led him to invent Penicillin. Don’t let your mistakes get you down. It is not practice that makes perfect. It is mistakes we learn from that makes perfect!

Don't be scared of mistakes more bigger steps ahead just keep going....

Extremely happy with our team at the Nacra15 Europeans!
All the teams in Gold fleet, 4 of them in the top 5, and on the podium overall, u19 and the nations cup.
And even more important: they had lots of fun as a group!
Very Proud and thanks to everybody that helped to make this happen!

👋 UPDATE 👋

First event in the Nacra 17 for done! 11th place at the Vilamoura Grand Prix with only a couple weeks of training in light wind and a broken toe 🤕. A couple days before the event she had a little incident while unloading boats, but with the help of a great medical team and some real toughness we were ready to race 🤜🤛.
Eline and I will continue training and racing full on coming season to try and qualify Belgium for the Olympics!

What a year it’s been! Lanzarote - Palma - Hyeres - Knokke - Scheveningen - Vilamoura. One by one amazing venues. Main goal of this year was to perform at the Junior Worlds, which we did! Finishing 4th U24 right behind 3 Australian teams and 1st U21 🏆! Massive thank you to Mira for giving it her all every day on the water. Thank you to everyone supporting us. thank you for coaching 🙌

No days off! Physical training every day and studying hard for the exams coming weeks.

Nacra worlds 2021 - day 2:

We started the day with waiting for the wind to pick up. In the afternoon, we could finally start sailing with first a very short practise race followed by one race directly after.

Some of our teams started performing from the first race while others had to deal with some material issues.

Nacra Worlds 2021 - Day 1:

Today, no sailing was possible due to the heavy wind conditions and the practise race has been postponed until tomorrow.
This means that the practise race will be held just before the official races of the qualifying series will start.

Despite no races were sailed today, the team prepared their boats for the race week, played some games to stay physically active and made a nice group picture!
