Championne de Belgique pour la 9e fois ! (U40 Female)

Félicitations à tous les clubs, participants et champions !

Merci aux organisateurs Taekwondo Vlaanderen, Keumgang Genk , Keumgang Houthalen-Oost pour ce bel événement (et Budo House pour le cadeau!), qui ont rassemblé pendant un même jour à la fois le Kyorugi et le Poomsae !
Certains athlètes ont même participé aux deux disciplines, Chapeau !🔥🤯

Encore un super séminaire avec Maître Rea-Hyoung Yu !
Sabre en bois (mokgum), sabre en métal (kagum), double sabre court (ssang-kum), sabre long (ssangsu-do), hallebarde (Woldo), ... Qu'est-ce qu'on s'éclate !

Je revisite et redécouvre les racines des arts martiaux, et retrouve le sens des techniques de pieds et poings avec le sabre et le fourreau.
Merci à Maître Yu pour son enseignement, aux clubs de Imjin Haedong Kumdo - Baudour ainsi que Imjin Herbesthal - Haedong Kumdo pour l'organisation et à tous les participants pour leur bonne énergie pendant (et après) les entraînements !

*European Poomsae Championships 2025 - 3rd place Indiv. Female U40* 🥉

My first ever medal at a big scale Championship !

I am happy and will celebrate this medal, but most of all, I am happy with my performance and the journey that led me there. ☀️

Thank you to my coaches Vera, Louis and Mathieu for their advice, Taekwondo Vlaanderen and Belgian Taekwondo Federation for leading us there. 🇧🇪 Thanks to my teammates of Team Belgium and their family for their support : my first trip with such a big team. We had a blast ! Congratulations to Axelle (U30) and Melissa (P21) who've also brought back bronze medals ! And thank you to all my friends from other teams and Belgium for their support ; you lend me the strength of a wave on which I can surf !

Thanks to European Taekwondo Union and Eesti Taekwondo for organizing this huge event, in the most beautiful city of Tallinn. I have made so many happy memories.

Congratulations to other athletes and teams which have given us amazing performances to watch. Every year, the level gets higher and higher, it nevers stops !

Such a Championship lets us see some of the most beautiful qualities of humanity, and how hard work pays off. I saw bravery, strength, courage, resilience, honesty, happiness, team spirit, support, empathy, respect. Let's keep on going !

Go Belgium !

Ons Belgisch nationaal team poomsae en para poomsae maakt zich klaar voor vertrek naar Tallinn, Estland, waar ze deze week ons land zullen vertegenwoordigen op het Europees Kampioenschap!

Voor poomsae verdedigen Aerin Vanderborght, Gabriella Meyvis, Cyril Lelièvre, Axelle Bonnez en Joëlle Tieterickx de Belgische kleuren. In de para poomsae neemt Melissa Engels de eer op zich om ons land te vertegenwoordigen.

We wensen hen allemaal heel veel succes en zijn nu al trots op wat ze zullen neerzetten!
