Sylhet United Football Club was named Somosshor Shongo before the 1971 liberation war in Bangladesh. After the war its name was changed to Sylhet United Football Club. Now this club is a factory of new footballers. Much training & care is given for the development of young talents. Many great footballers of Bangladesh have gone through this club. This club is continuing to build great footballers & is giving much support for the young & talented players.
