**In Loving Memory of Rubayet Jamil**
​It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Rubayet Jamil, a beloved figure in the amateur cricket community and a key player for Gulshan Youth Club.
​Earlier today, March 27, 2026, during a friendly match between Chittagong Sixers and Gulshan Youth Club, Rubayet Jamil collapsed on the field while batting. Despite immediate medical attention at Hathazari Alif Hospital and subsequent efforts at Evercare Hospital, Chittagong, he was tragically pronounced dead due to a cardiac arrest.
​"Surely we belong to Allah, and to Him we shall return."
​Rubayet Jamil was more than just a cricketer; he was a soul who brought energy and passion to the pitch. His untimely departure has left the entire amateur cricketing fraternity in mourning.

​On behalf of the Bunch of Brothers community, we extend our deepest condolences to his bereaved family and friends. May Allah (SWT) grant him the highest place in Jannah and give his loved ones the strength to endure this irreparable loss.

We are profoundly saddened by the passing of the respected father of our esteemed member and beloved talented cricketer, Sajjad Bahar Chowdhury Rony Bhai.

​This sad news has left our entire family stunned. We sincerely pray for the eternal peace of the departed soul and seek the mercy of the Almighty, wishing him a place in Jannatul Firdaus.

​Our deepest condolences go out to Rony Bhai and his bereaved family. We understand how difficult it is to cope with this irreparable loss. During this trying time, all of us stand firmly by Rony Bhai and his family. It is our heartfelt prayer that Allah grants you all the patience and mental strength to bear this immense grief.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of the respected father of our dear brother Aungshuman Peter Gsh (Peter) a renowned former cricketer and coach from Hathazari.

Osman Goni Tanvir stepped up to the crease for the Bunch of Brothers in their match against Golden Gloves, and what an innings it turned out to be! Scoring a solid 60 runs off just 50 deliveries, Tanvir anchored the innings and provided much-needed stability for his team. This performance speaks volumes, especially if it marks his return to the game. He demonstrated resilience and skill, contributing significantly to the team's total of 159. His composed knock included boundaries and smart running between the wickets, showcasing his all-around cricketing ability.
