Hello everyone. I am sorry to all those who messaged but never got a reply. The gym is permanently closed as I moved back overseas earlier in the year. For those that are interested in Muay Thai (or combat sports in general), I would highly recommend Vanquish combat gym in Gulshan and Legacy MMA Gym in Dhanmondi.

Dhaka Muay Thai members who are looking to acquire gear for their training, please let me know if you require any item(s) from the list. Advance payment will be required via bkash by 1 Nov. I would advise all members to own at least a pair of hand wraps to provide support for the knuckles and wrists. Hand wraps in Bangladesh are all 2m and do not offer the necessary protection. For those sparring and looking to spar in the future and even potentially competing, mouth guards are mandatory. For hygienic purposes, owning your own shin guards are also recommended.

Our updated membership fees as of November 2021. The first 2 are monthly payments. The beginners’ group classes are held on Wednesday evenings at 8pm. We will be starting ladies-only beginners’ Muay Thai class fairly soon so send us a message if you’re interested in singing up for that.

As a Muay Thai practitioner, strengthening the shins is a crucial part for everyone’s game. You’ll see videos of rolling pins to baseball bats, used for conditioning. The best way, however, is to just kick heavy bags and pads. Finish every session with hard kicks and your bones will get stronger in no time!
