After the successful completion of the Cox’s Bazar Run 2023 & 2025, along with the Victory Day Half Marathon 2024 — organized in collaboration with the Bangladesh Army and the District Administration of Cox’s Bazar — we are proud to announce a landmark event: the first-ever full marathon in Cox’s Bazar city, brought to you by the Cox’s Bazar Runners Community in association with Run Globally!
This iconic initiative is designed to promote a culture of running and healthy living, uniting our community through shared passion while showcasing the breathtaking natural beauty of Cox’s Bazar to the world. By combining the city’s scenic charm with the growing global appeal of marathon events, we aim to firmly establish Cox’s Bazar as a premier destination for runners and travelers alike. Thought, this marathon is more than just a race — it’s a movement. A movement to promote fitness, raise awareness about environmental responsibility, and celebrate Cox’s Bazar as a clean, sustainable, and eco-friendly global location.
Our journey began in December 2023 with the inaugural “Cox’s Bazar Run” (7.5 KM), held along our iconic beachfront. The incredible enthusiasm and support we received inspired us to take the next bold step — launching a full-scale, international-standard marathon event.
