🏸 Intertown Squash – Yass This Sunday!
Good evening guys,

We’re looking for 6–10 keen squash players to represent Young in our upcoming intertown match against Yass this Sunday in Yass.

It’s a great day out with 2 games of singles, followed by teaming up for a doubles match.
Whether you’re a regular competitor or just keen to have a hit, all ages and abilities are welcome! It’s a fun day of social and competitive squash and a great way to get involved.

🏆 2026 Young Squash Club Championships 🏆

What a fantastic night of squash with four quality championship matches showcasing the talent, determination and sportsmanship within our club. Congratulations to all of our finalists on making it through to championship night and putting on such a great display.

D Grade
🥇 Thomas Corbett defeated Elliott Palmer 3–1 in a closely contested match. Well done to both boys on a great game!

C Grade
🥇 Tom Wills defeated Logan Apps 3–1 in another incredibly close match, with both players producing some outstanding rallies.

B Grade
🥇 Zac Williams defeated Charlie Collins 3–1, with the fourth set proving to be the highlight, finishing 15–13 in a thrilling battle.

A Grade
🥇 Macklay Brownlie defeated Bailey Coombes 3–2 in an absolute championship classic. The deciding fifth set went right down to the wire, with Macklay taking it 15–13. It was a thrilling match that had the crowd on the edge of their seats from start to finish.

A huge congratulations to all of our champions and runners-up. Thank you to everyone who came along to support the players and create such a fantastic atmosphere.

A pretty special moment at Young Squash Club tonight. ❤️

Young Squash Club Life Member Ian Tierney and wife Anne were there to watch their grandsons, Thomas and Elliott, take on each other in the D Grade Championship Final.

Congratulations to both boys on a fantastic match, with Thomas coming away with the win. We're sure Ian and Anne couldn't have been prouder watching them both out on court.

Moments like these are what makes our club so special. 👏🏆
