💙🩷 What an incredible season for our U13 Blue team! 🩷💙

Sunday marked the culmination of months of hard work, dedication, and teamwork as the girls competed at the Association Championships Final in Melbourne.

We are so proud of the way they represented themselves, their families, and YDNA throughout the season. The friendships, memories, and experiences gained along the way are something they should all be proud of.

A huge thank you to our coaches, Tahnee and Haylee, for their dedication, encouragement, and commitment to the team throughout the season. Thank you also to our parents, families, and supporters for everything you have done along the way.

Congratulations girls on a fantastic year—you have represented YDNA with pride! 🏐💙🩷

🏐💙🩷 Under 11s Shine at the North East Regional Carnival 🩷💙🏐

Today it was our Under 11 representative teams' turn to take to the courts at the North East Regional Carnival in Wangaratta, hosted by Wangaratta Netball Association.

This year marked the first time YDNA has fielded Under 11 representative teams, providing our youngest players with the opportunity to gain valuable experience and prepare for the Under 13, Under 15 and Under 17 representative pathways in the years ahead.

Both our Blue and Pink teams represented YDNA exceptionally well throughout the season and again today against associations from across the North East region.

Congratulations to Yarra Blue, who finished runners-up in the Under 11 Representative division today, with placings determined on percentage. The team has enjoyed an outstanding season, remaining undefeated throughout all tournaments and carnivals.

Yarra Pink also had a fantastic season, losing only a handful of games and continuing to improve with every outing. Their effort, enthusiasm and teamwork have been a credit to the association.

Today's carnival concludes the representative season for our Under 11 teams, Under 13 Pink and both Under 15 teams. It has been an incredibly successful season, with every team making finals and several teams taking home tournament wins along the way.

Congratulations to all players, coaches, parents and supporters for your hard work, commitment and encouragement throughout the season. Representative netball is only possible because of the many volunteers and families who give their time to support our players.

A special thank you to our Head Representative Coach, Georgie Bruce, for the direction, leadership and vision she continues to provide for our representative program. Georgie's dedication has played a significant role in the growth and success of representative netball at YDNA.

While today marks the end of the season for many of our teams, we still have one more challenge ahead, with our Under 13 Blue team set to represent YDNA at the State Association Championships in Melbourne on 21 June. We wish them all the very best as they prepare for this exciting opportunity.

We are incredibly proud of everything our representative players have achieved this season. The future is certainly bright for YDNA. 💙🩷✨

🏆 NE ASSOCIATION CHAMPIONS! 🏆

What an incredible achievement for our U13 Blue team!

After finishing 4th in the preliminary rounds, the girls dug deep and produced some outstanding netball, defeating both Shepparton and Albury to claim the NE Association Championship title. 💙

A remarkable effort from a small association taking on some strong competition, showing determination, teamwork and resilience every step of the way.

Congratulations to all players, coaches and families on this well-deserved success. Next stop: Melbourne to compete at the Victorian Association Championships ! ✨

Well done to our 13 pink, 15 blue and 15 pink for a great effort in Association Champs and huge thanks to all players, coaches, team managers and parents for their hard work.

We are so proud of you all. 💙🏐

Best of luck to our YDNA Under 13 and Under 15 Representative teams competing tomorrow at the North East Association Championships in Albury.

All teams have trained hard and shown great determination throughout the season. Most importantly, enjoy the experience, support each other and have a great day together 💙🩷

A big thank you to the following players who gave up their time last night to assist with our Development Coaching Accreditation Course:
Bonnie Cooper, Chelsea Carroll, Taylah Bigger, Siena Gallagher, Bel Bruce, Maisie Cope, Nancy Thomas, Tayissa Dawson, Finn Bruce, Jack Bruce, Ella Wilson, Lizzie Thomas, Sophie Dalrymple, Jade McInerney, Allie Matthews, Bailey Richardson, Lexie Richardson, Georgie Burns, Koda Parker and Charlotte Sims.

YDNA was proud to host its first ever Development Coaching Accreditation practical session, where coaches who had completed the theory component were able to complete the practical assessment to gain their accreditation. This accreditation is a prerequisite for coaches progressing through the Representative Netball coaching pathway.

A huge thank you also to the coaches who gave up their time to complete the course and further their coaching development - Kiara Corkett, Jodie Bigger, Haylee Wilson, Tahnee Pearce, Claire Dawson, Mabel Cope, Steph Hammond, Elli Buerckner and Sarah Wollington

Special recognition must go to Georgie Bruce, our Head Rep Coach, who recently undertook additional training to become an accredited presenter and assessor for the course. We are incredibly fortunate to have Georgie leading our Representative Netball program. Her dedication and passion for developing pathways within YDNA has been instrumental in making opportunities like this possible, with 9 participants able to gain their accreditation right here in Yarrawonga.
