A busy weekend...

On Friday night, we had Hamish fight in a cage on Samurai Fight Series.

The live scoring was an awesome feature to this show and showed us Hamish won the first round.
Hamish unfortunately lost the next two rounds to an opponent with near double the experience. Overall, a good performance from Hamish.

On Sunday, we travelled back to a Sydney for the MTA NSW Amateur event.

First, we had Jade secure her first win with a dominant performance. Jade made significant adjustments to her technique in a short period of time, who out punched, kicked, and kneed her opponent securing the win.

Riley then went 4 wins from 4 after a rematch from his last fight. Riley's opponent made a few changes to their game, having seen Riley's style in the first round. We made a few changes ourselves to combat this, and Riley started to get ahead with some great body kicking, dominant clicking a few solid punches.

As usual, thank you to my team at Toro for your help over these events and the fighters who help us prepare.

Team Toro went to .con in Canberra over the weekend. We had Riley, Jade and Raj all compete in the WBC Amateur Muay Thai event on day 1 with Riley and Raj winning fairly easy. Jade lost on points in a close fight on her debut. Raj backed up on day 2 to fight again but was unable to finish the fight. Unfortunately, Hamish was unable to secure a fight over the weekend.

Big shout out to Kim and Liam for making the trip down to help out. Really appreciate your help.
