Doggies! It’s finals weekend 2 and we have 2 teams playing.

Both the football and B grade netball will be fighting it out tomorrow for their chance at the big dance 💪🏽

Prelim finals are being played at Brownswell and games are at normal time, make sure to get there Doggie Army and bark as loud as possible for your teams!

Doggies what a day!

A GRADE LADIES STRAIGHT THROUGH TO THE GRAND FINAL!!!!!!
The ladies took out their semi final defeating Sedan-Cambrai and are headed to the big dance in two weeks time.

B Grade ladies unfortunately were defeated by Sedan-Cambrai but played a hard fought game and are headed to the Premlim final next weekend and will go head to head with Brownswell for a chance at the Grand!

Football lads played an incredible game knocking Murrayville out of the finals! And are headed to the prelims next weekend where they will take on Brownswell for a chance at the big dance 💪🏽

Get ready for an incredible couple of weeks Doggie Army and get Barking as loud as possible for your teams ❤️🤍💙

🟥⬜️🟦MILESTONE ALERT🟥⬜️🟦

50 GAMES FOR Isabella Edwards

This Saturday we celebrate a very special milestone for our pocket rocket, Izzy.. 50 games! ❤️‍🔥

Izzy first pulled on the blue, white and red back in 2019 and has been an absolute force ever since. A multiple League Team of the Year player, Best & Fairest winner in 2019 and runner-up in 2021, Izzy has certainly made her mark on the club.

Whether she’s running through the midcourt or stepping into the circle, Izzy is the ultimate natural attacker. Her leading is explosive and direct, she opens up the attack end beautifully, and her feeding is quite simply accurate AF. Add in a sharp shot and an incredible work ethic, and you’ve got one seriously dangerous netballer!

Unfortunately, this season hasn’t gone quite to plan after Izzy injured her ankle early on, meaning we haven’t been able to see as much of her on court as we would have loved. But that hasn’t stopped her from being a huge part of this team. She’s been there on the sidelines, cheering her teammates on, offering advice, support and encouragement, and showing exactly what it means to be a team player.

A natural leader, a pocket rocket, a phenomenal feeder and an absolute weapon in attack, we’re so lucky to have you back at the club, Izzy!

Good luck tomorrow and enjoy every minute!

50 GAMES SAMARA NIELD ❤️‍🔥

From blow-ins to A grade sensation!

Sammy was first discovered on the courts at Loxton North in 2022 as a group of misfits combined to create the mixed netball powerhouse that was the “blow-ins”. Undersized but full of grit and determination she met all the prerequisites of a future bulldog.

In 2023 Sammy joined WFNC and her impact was immediate, becoming A grade captain in her first season and again in 2024. A mighty force in the midcourt, capable of playing multiple positions Sammy has a knack for making the right decisions with skill and composure.

This season Sammy took on the role of playing coach. A role that is tough for many, but a role in which she has flourished leading the A grade with positivity and heart. Her ability to stay cool under pressure and belief in her team is unmatched and her team love her for it. An expert in leading by example both on and off the court, Sammy truly is an asset to the club and community.

Congratulations Sammy and all the best in your 50th game today!
