Congratulations to Central Coast Pickleball Woy Woy Incorporated on being awarded a $2,000 Ettalong Diggers Category 2 ClubGRANT.

Project: Enhancing wellness of older Australians through pickleball coaching.

For those new to the sport — pickleball is a fun, fast-growing game that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Played on a small court with paddles and a perforated ball, it’s easy to learn and especially popular among older Australians for its focus on fitness, social connection, and overall wellbeing.

The funding for this project directly addresses the financial challenges faced by retired members, ensuring that they can actively participate in a sport that promotes physical fitness, skill development, and community engagement.

Well done to the team for helping more members of our community stay active, connected, and healthy through this fantastic initiative! 🏓👏
