A busy week ahead with our Women in action Thursday night and our Men travelling to Grafton on Saturday. Reserves have the week off.

Last Saturday, during round 9, players, coaches, officials, families, and the Breakers came together to observe a minute’s silence in honour of Andy Johnston.

Andy was a greatly respected member of the football community and a dedicated, long-serving president of the Nambucca Valley Lions, whose passion and commitment left a lasting impact on so many.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in paying tribute. Our thoughts are with Andy’s family, friends, and all at the Nambucca Valley Lions during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Andy. Your legacy within the game and the community will be remembered for years to come.

Northern Beaches blues players, committee and supporters all wish to share our deepest sympathies at this awful time. Our thoughts are with Finn, her family and friends

Our amazing Secretary Finn Naylor has been in a serious accident and is currently in critical care on the Gold Coast. Finn has played several seasons here at the tigers in our women's team and is currently strapping on the boots at Northern Beaches Blues. She is a fighter and all our thoughts are with her and her family right now. Here is a special message from Finns mum “Our feisty, fearless and kind hearted daughter Finn Naylor was injured in a motorcycle accident last Sunday. Finn is in the ICU at Gold Coast University Hospital. She is under sedation to give her body time to rest and repair. We know she is fighting hard to come back to us all. We sincerely thank you, her sports mates, for your best wishes and prayers”.
