At training, a coach might get 2 to 3 minutes of individual attention with each player across a whole session. That’s simply the nature of group training, and it’s why so many of our players and parents are turning to 1:1 PT Sessions with Coach Brad Morkos.

In a 1:1 session, every rep, every correction and every drill is built entirely around your child. No shared attention, no waiting your turn, just focused, personalised coaching on the exact skills they need to work on, whether that’s ball handling, footwork, tackle technique or game confidence.

OFF SEASON DOESN’T MEAN OFF SKILLS 🏉

While the season’s quiet, the players who come back sharpest in preseason are usually the ones who kept working through the gap. Off season is actually the best window all year to lock in real improvement with our Head of Coaching, Brad Morkos.

Here’s why now is the time:

1️⃣ No game pressure means real experimentation. Off season is when a player can try a new technique, get it wrong a few times and actually fix it, without it costing the team a match.

2️⃣ One habit, fully rebuilt. During the season there’s never enough time to properly retrain a single weak spot. A block of 1:1 sessions is enough time to turn a shaky skill into a reliable one.

3️⃣ You come back ahead, not even. Preseason trials reward players who didn’t stop. A few sessions now can be the difference between starting fresh and starting sharp.

4️⃣ Full focus, zero split attention. Team training has to serve the whole squad. A 1:1 session is built entirely around what one player needs to work on, nothing else competing for Brad’s attention.

🔥 U14s & U15s ACADEMY | WHERE THE NEXT LEVEL STARTS 🏉

At this age, footy starts to get serious.

Players are getting stronger, faster and smarter. Representative opportunities become more competitive, and the small details in a player’s game start to make a BIG difference.

That’s exactly where our Morks Rugby League Academy comes in.

The growth we’ve seen this year from players who attend Academy alongside their regular club training has been incredible. In some cases, we’re seeing noticeable changes after only a short period of time.

Our Academy gives players the extra development that regular team training simply doesn’t always have time to focus on.
